Ingredients:
1 lb ground chicken or turkey
1/4 cup gluten free Hoisin sauce (i found mine at sprouts)
2 tablespoons gluten free soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1/2 tablespoon minced fresh ginger (can use powdered but its not as good)
1/2 tablespoon fresh minced ginger
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 white onion chopped finely
8oz water chestnuts chopped finely
Green onions chopped
In a pan sautee the onion and garlic and onion until translucent
Add in the chicken or turkey and cook until done
In a separate bowl mix all of the remaining ingredients except the green onions , when the chicken or turkey is cooked mix in the sauce and let it thicken for a couple minutes. Add green onions when it thickens.
Serve in lettuce leaves or some rice depending on macros you have available.
