Ashley’s Beer Batter Fish Filet

I made a single batch enough for 1-3 fillets.

Thaw cod fillet

Heat air fryer to 400 (allow it to preheat while prepping batter and thawing fish 15 min)

In small bowl whisk one egg Dump majority. ( you just want a little since this is a mini batch)

Add 2-4 oz of light beer of choice more or less depending on how much batter

Add flour to slightly thicker than pancake batter consistency(I used wheat but regular is perfect) salt, dash of cayenne, dash of Cajun seasoning

Dunk your fish to coat on all sides!

Open air fryer and spray inside with oil spray

Cook fish for 12 min on one side, you will see golden edges then spray quick bit of oil spray and spray again after flipping

Cook for 8-10 more minutes depending on thickness!

Remove and season with salt! Whatever bun you want (I used regular best choice bun) 2 tablespoons tartar sauce! You can add cheese if macros permit !
