In this week's episode of the CWC podcast I talk about letting go of things that no longer fulfill you. We (especially women) tend to stick with things that we think we should be doing without considering what we really want. Then, when we fall short of meeting these expectations, we villainize ourselves. Sometimes the most freeing thing we can do is look in the mirror and say, “this is me, and if nothing changes moving forward with my body, then I am okay with that." Sometimes the gym is not a priority, and that's ok. Sometimes meticulously tracking your food is not a priority, and that's ok. It may come back around, but it may not. The point is to do less things that make you miserable, and more things that sound like fun. Life is too short to spend in a gym if you would rather be outside, or on your couch watching movies, giving yourself the care you need in that moment.
